    • Echinacea Sombrero Fiesta Orange boasts single and semi-double flowers on the same plant.  Its vibrant color is matched by its exceptional winter hardiness and excellent branching.

  • Lavender Primavera

    • Lavender Primavera extends the Spanish Lavender season from early Spring through Fall.  It is a perpetual blooming Spanish Lavender.  It has the longest flowering window of any Spanish Lavender on the market and requires no chill.  Traditional Spanish Lavender blooms March through June.  Lavender Primavera blooms February through October.
    • Landscape uses: 1 or 1.5 Gallon or great as patio plant.  Also, can be planted in the landscape.

Pacific Plug and Liner

    • Delgenius is not only hardy to zone 4 but also very heat tolerant.  Growers will be able to easily produce large plants quickly.
    • There is no need for PGR's on this Delphinium.  It is genetically bred to stay compact, the blood lines used for this cross bring both cold hardiness and heat tolerance.
    • Landscape uses: Because of the sturdy structure and secondary bloom set, this delphinium performs well in the landscape.

    • Frostkiss are the toughest hellebore on the market.  They have great heat tolerance with foliage that is deer resistant and attractive in the landscape after flowering.  Strong abundant blooms last longer and hold color for longer retail shelf life.
    • The Frostkiss Hellebore series has been bred to take the fear out of Hellebore production.  They have a place in the landscape during its impressive bloom cycle and all season with its outstanding foliage.
    • Landscape uses: Frostkiss Hellebore not only hold their blooms well into the spring but they also have striking foliage traits.  Dark green, variegated leaves offer a beautiful accent in any shade garden all season long.  Group these plants in areas tired of the same old hosta, vinca and ferns.

    • Moderately well drained, organic soil types are best.  Dry moderately between waterings.  Be careful not to bury the crowns when planting.
    • Eye-catching for the retail consumer but also an easy to grow and maintain perennial for growers.  This new Heuchera has all the sun tolerance and strength of one of the top selling heuchera in the world, 'Obsidian' but with the added draw of HOT cherry pink heavy flowering.  The most striking contrast between foliage and flowers we have ever seen.
    • Landscape uses: Great in containers or beds, good for the front and center placement for a bold, dramatic look.  An absolute standout in container gardening, adds both a dark balance and a bright pop of cherry-red to draw the eye.  Has great sun tolerance due to dark color foliage.

  • Brunnera 'Alexandria'

    • Prefers organic soils, must be well drained but moist.  Recommend growing under 35% shade cloth during summer months.  Be careful not to bury the crowns when planting.  Deer resistance.
    • Landscape uses: A wonderful shade accent plant.  Use in containers, as a mass planting, or a border.  An easy to maintain option to brighten up dark edges of the garden and add a cool metallic look that really shines!
    • Alexandria features brilliant mirror-silver leaves with the classic 'Alexander's Great' size and vigor.  Tiny clouds of sky-blue flowers in the spring float above the foliage as it emerges.  Truly a refreshing garden addition.

  • Echinacea DARK SHADOWS™ Wicked

    • 12" high; 14" wide; 16" tall flowers
    • Average soil, coarse and slightly mineral soils are best.  Do not let liners dry out.  Plants shipped in fall require winter protection.  We recommend transplanting to a 4" pot if you receive the plants in the fall.  Facultative long day plant.  Day-length extension up to 16 hours has proven beneficial for promoting flowering.  Low pH can be fatal.
    • Landscape uses: Full but compact coneflower with striking dark contrast, an absolute favorite amongst the Terra Nova team and visitors.  Cut flower, deep south, deer resistant, fragrant, hummingbird attractor, low water usage, pollinator attractor.
    • Very upright with glowing watermelon-pink held in a perfect bouquet pattern.  Dense, pine-green foliage covers this plant right to the ground.  Dark, chocolate brown stems and matching eye contrast perfectly on this amazing plant.  Stunning when planted en mass.  A true standout as a specimen.  Excellent in containers.

Walters Gardens

  • Phlox paniculata 'Opalescence' LUMINARY™ Series

    • Excellent resistance to powdery mildew
    • Upright habit with beautifully formed panicles of light pink flowers with dark pink eye.

  • Iris pseudata 'Shiryukyo' (Purple Dragon's Valley)
    • Japanese origin - Hiroshi Shimizu
    • Propagation: Division
    • Hardiness: 4-9
    • 45-54" on registry (36" tall in MI); 48" wide
    • Iris pseudata grows best in moist soils and sun.  Although it tolerates part shade, plant in full sun for best performance.  This plant will do very well in standing water, such as water or rain gardens, as well as normal gardening conditions.
    • Reddish purple standards, with an Iris pseudocorus shape.  It's sterile since it is a hybrid of two species, more vigorous than Iris ensata.
