Perennial Plant Association Scholarship Program

The Perennial Plant Association offesr five scholarships to college students studying horticulture or a related subject area. Students enrolled in two or four year programs are eligible to apply.

Each scholarship recipient receives $1000 and complimentary registration for all lectures and tours at the Perennial Plant Symposium. Recipients will also receive complimentary lodging during the symposium. Scholarship recipients must attend the symposium to receive the $1000 scholarship. The 2008 Perennial Plant Symposium will be in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

REQUIREMENTS:
Student should be majoring or minoring in horticulture or a related field.
Student should have at least one quarter or semester remaining following spring term 2007.
Student should have a minimum 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
Recipients must attend the 2007 Perennial Plant Symposium.
An interest in a career in perennials is preferred but not required.
Applications must be postmarked on or before March 1, 2008.
