The Perennial Plant Association welcomes those interested in herbaceous ornamental plants to apply for membership in the Association. Members enjoy the opportunity to network with others in the trade in order to establish personal and business relationships. Our membership includes growers, designers, garden centers, librarians, educators, students, researchers, and many more involved in the perennial industry.

We keep in touch with our members via newsletters and a quarterly journal. We send information regarding the landscape design contest, the new plant forum, the officers for each region, regulations affecting the industry, news notes from the membership, and many more news items about our membership!

Each year there is an international conference, the Perennial Plant Association Symposium. In 2006, the Symposium will be held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada from July 16-22. This rare opportunity will highlight some of the best and most interesting lectures and tours Canada offers. The plans are well underway and all members will receive information automatically and have the opportunity to register at reduced prices.

Members select the Perennial Plant of the Year© each year and look forward to early notification for purposes of propagating, ordering, and designing with the Perennial Plant of the Year© well ahead of the general trade.

We are now offering the opportunity to receive many of our publications on line. This practice is in response to many requests among members. Of course, we offer paper, too. Just let us know!
